Our mission

A small kindy with a big community heart.

Chelmer Station Community Kindergarten is owned by the families it serves and governed by a volunteer parent committee. Our purpose is simple: bring local families together and provide quality early childhood education for three to five year olds.

Fees are reinvested into teachers, books, gardens, art materials and safe places to play. No owner takes a profit, and every decision is guided by what helps children thrive.

We report to the national charities regulator and publish our formal registration details so families and supporters can verify exactly who we are.

Community impact

Local families, lifelong beginnings.

For more than three decades, our kindy has been a meeting place for Chelmer families — supporting children before school and connecting parents, carers and volunteers around a shared purpose.
